オオカミ・ヤギ・キャベツの川渡しの組み合わせ

■理解の確認例

（1）ピクチャーカードを見せながら，生徒とのインタラクションで話の流れをつかませます。
（2）p.120のクイズ（「いっしょにしてはいけない組み合わせはどれですか。それはなぜですか。」）の答えを考えます。
（3）理解確認のためのQ＆Aを行います。

■展開例

　クイズを友だちに再話（リテリング）する活動を行います。

T：In the last lesson, we challenged a puzzle. Do you remember? Please talk about the puzzle with your friends.
（生徒は周りの友だちと話し合います。）

T：Today, we try to show this puzzle in English. どういうことをするのか，まず実際に私がやってみます。
（川やオオカミ，ヤギ，キャベツのイラストのカードを動かしながら話します。）

T：Hi. I'm going to show you a puzzle today. The title of the puzzle is "River Crossing Puzzle." Look at this picture. This is a farmer. He wants to cross the river by a small boat. He wants to take a wolf, a goat, and a cabbage with him. But he cannot take them all at once. He cannot leave the wolf with the goat. Wolves eat goats. He cannot leave the goat and the cabbage behind. Goats eat cabbages. What can he do? First, take the goat. The wolf doesn't eat the cabbage. So, it's OK. Second, take the cabbage across and return with the goat. Third, take the wolf across. Return alone. Finally, take the goat across. Done!
