■Oral Introduction 例

　生徒に知っているコメディーの種類を挙げさせ，英語で落語を読むことへの導入につなげます。

T：Do you like comedy or funny stories?
S：Yes.
T：There are many kinds of comedy. Can you think of any?
S：漫才，ラブコメ，ブラックコメディー……
T：Good. For example, in Japan, we have rakugo. Rakugo is a traditional Japanese stroytelling. Now, rakugo is loved in other countries, too. It is translated into English. Today, we are going to read a rakugo story in English. In the next lesson, after we read this story, we are going to try reading it aloud.
