■Oral Introduction 例

　外国の人に人気のある日本の文化を挙げさせて，日本文化の紹介につなげます。

T：Japanese culture is loved by many people in the world. Do you know the examples? Talk with your friends.
（生徒は周囲と話し合います。）
T：O.K. Let’s share the ideas. Anyone?
S：Kabuki, ramen, anime, sushi .... / Some sightseeing spots are popular, for example, Kyoto and Hokkaido.
などと生徒が意見を出します。
T：Very good. Today we are going to think about Japanese culture and then we’ll write about it later.

■展開の活動例

　日本文化の紹介に向けた準備として，日本文化について想起させるゲームを行います。

★ゲーム名：Jeopardy Game

★ルール
下の表からお題と得点を選び，正解するとチームにポイントが入ります。

★進め方
（1）生徒は4〜6人のグループでチームを作ります。
（2）チームの代表者がじゃんけんで順番を決めます。
（3）順番に各チームがお題と得点を選び，クイズに答えます。

問題例：
Q1：He is loved by many people in the world. He is a robot from the future.
A：Doraemon.

Q2：This is a martial art in Japan. Japanese students learn this in the P.E. class.
　　It's not Kendo.
A：Judo.

Q3：Many Japanese people go there on the New Year's Day. Before we pray, we ring the big bell.
A：A shrine.

Q4：This is an annual event in Japan. It's held in spring. People go out to see cherry blossoms and have a party.
A：Hanami [Cherry Blossom Viewing].

Q5：He is from a Japanese animation translated into many foreign languages. He is the best friend of the main character. He wears glasses.
A：Nobita.
