受け身 / 受け身の疑問文・否定文

■言語活動例受け身

　受け身は，be bornやbe spokenなどのbyを使わないものがよく使われ，byを使う受け身は，前文からのつながり（情報構造）を意識したときによく使われることを理解させましょう。
　教科書p.105のPracticeの発展練習として，「例」「1.」「2.」「4.」については前提になる文があると考えられるため，その文はどのような文かを考えさせてみましょう。
　その際，p.105下のUseの例文を使って説明すると，トピックとの距離について理解しやすくなります。
　【ポイント】を踏まえ，Practiceの「例」「1.」「2.」「4.」各文は，どのような前提文が考えられるか考えさせましょう。

例　Look at that beautiful building, Osaka Castle!
　 It (=Osaka Castle) was built by Toyotomi Hideyoshi.
1．The most popular city in Japan is Kyoto.
　 It (=Kyoto) was visited by many tourists.
2．Many people like sushi very much.
　 It (=Sushi) is loved around the world.
4．Look at these beautiful cherry trees.
　 They (=These cherry trees) were planted in 1971.

■ターゲット文法の導入例受け身の疑問文・否定文

　生徒と対話をしながら，受け身の疑問文・否定文の形や用法を導入します。

T：Look at these pictures. They are famous people and things in Japan. Maybe you know many of them. S1, who is he?
S1：It's Yonezu Kenshi.
T：That's right. Is "Lemon" sung by Yonezu Kenshi?
S1：Yes, it is.
T：Good! Then, what's this?
S2：It's Osaka Castle.
T：Was Osaka Castle built by Tokugawa Ieyasu?
S2：No, it wasn't.
T：Good. Everyone, what's this?
S：It's "タンギー爺さん."
T：Very good! Was this drawn by Picasso?
S：No, it wasn't.
T：Great! It was not drawn by Picasso. It was drawn by Van Gogh. Do you understand how to answer 「受け身の疑問文」? And do you understand how to make 「受け身の否定文」?
S：Yes.
