■Oral Introduction 例1Braille Blocks Story

（1）本文の場面設定を中心にOral introductionを行います。

T：Look at the top pictures on page 57. Have you ever seen these blocks? You can see these blocks on streets and platforms. We call these blocks braille blocks. Braille means tenji in Japanese. What are braille blocks for? Who created them? Where were they created? In the USA or Spain? Let's read the text and find out.


（2）CDまたは教師の声で本文の音声を聞かせた後，簡単な英語の設問を提示し，答えを探しながら黙読させます。

1．Who do braille blocks help?
2．Who invented braille blocks?
3．Who gave Miyake a good hint?
4．Are braille blocks used in many countries?

■言語活動例間接疑問文・疑問文＋不定詞

　教科書p.60のLet's Tryを下記のように進めていくとよいでしょう。
（1）事前に宿題として，自分の好きな有名人の写真やイラストを準備しておくように伝えます。
（2）ペアになって対話例を音読練習させます。
（3）対話例を参考に，写真やイラストを見せながら有名人の名前や出身地などについて間接疑問文を用いて，ペアでクイズを出し合わせます。

■Oral Introduction 例2電話で，伝言を頼んだりする

　携帯電話の話題から，ほかの人の家に電話をかけた際の伝言のやりとりの表現の導入へとつなげます。

T：Recently, many people use a smartphone. How many of you have a smartphone?
（生徒は挙手をします。）
T：A smartphone is useful because you can carry it wherever you go. How do you use your smartphone? You can Talk with your friends.
（生徒同士で話し合わせます。）
T：O.K. How do you use your smartphone?
S：To talk. To send and receive e-mails. To communicate through LINE or other social media. To access the Internet. To take pictures. To check the weather forecast. To check a map and know how to get to somewhere. To listen to music. To play games.
など意見を聞きます。
T：Very good. Then, do you have a phone at home [固定電話：a land-line]? Have you ever seen these phones?
（固定電話や昔の電話の写真を見せます。）
