■Oral Introduction 例1Sign Language Robot

　本文の場面設定を中心にOral introductionを行います。

T：Does anyone here know sign language in Japanese?
S1：手話。
T：Good. Open your textbook to page 59. You will find a Japanese sign language guide. Now look at me. I will show you some sign language.
（教師が手話で「こんにちは」を行います。）
T：Does anyone know what I just said in sign language?
S2：Yes. You said, "こんにちは."
T：Now you can try it. Make pairs and sign one word to your partner using this guide.

■表現活動例将来の夢を発表しよう

（1）生徒は教科書p.58のStep2で作成した発表文を，グループで発表し合います。
（2）発表内容について簡単な質疑応答を行います。
（3）発表文をリライトします。

S1：My dream is to be a voice actor. I like Japanese anime and voice actors in it. I want to act in many anime in the future. Do you have any questions?
S2：Who is your favorite voice actor?
S1：My favorite voice actor is Kaji Yuki.
S3：What anime do you recommend?
S1：I recommend ONE PIECE. It is a wonderful anime.
S4：Oh, I like ONE PIECE, too!
S5：How long do you watch anime every day?
S1：I watch anime for two hours.
などと続く。
T：O.K, good job. Now, everyone, please rewrite your speeches and include your classmates' questions and answers.

■Oral Introduction 例2ほしいものや，したいことをていねいに言う

　世界の外食習慣をきっかけに，レストランでほしいものや，したいことをていねいに言う表現の導入につなげます。

T：Do you go out? How often do you go to a restaurant?
S1：Yes. たまにファミレスに行きます。
S2：No.
T：I sometimes go there with my family. I'll show you some pictures of the restaurants around the world.
（世界各国の外食シーンを画像で見せ，生徒とインタラクションを進めます。）
