■Let's Read and Write 7／ゲーム

【ゲーム�@「伝言ゲーム」】
　p.87の「2」の音声を流し、繰り返し練習した後、そこから語を選んで出題します。

�@児童をグループに分けて列に並ばせる。
�A列の先頭の児童に語を伝える。
�B先頭の児童から順に、語を伝えていく。
�C最後の児童は、その語を教師に伝えるか、黒板に書く。

■子音の発音f, v, h, m, n

　このページで出てくる子音 f, v, h, m, n の発音の仕方を確認しておきましょう。

■Unit 8／Introduction

　前学年までに習った形や色の表現を使って国旗クイズを出して、国名を導入します。

T：Let's play a national flag quiz.
　 Which country’s national flag is this?
　 It has a diamond. (ひし形を描く)
　 Which country’s national flag is this?
S：ブラジル！
T：That's right!
　 This is Brazil's national flag.
　 Brazil is famous for soccer.
　 Then which country's national flag is this?
　 It has four stars.
S：ニュージーランド！
T：That's right.
　 This is New Zealand's national flag.
　 Rugby is a very popular sport in New Zealand.
　 (オーストラリアの国旗を示しながら) Look at Australia's flag.
　 They are very similar.
　 What is the difference?
　 Can you tell me?
　 Australia's has one big star and five small stars.
　 The stars are white.
　 What color are the stars of New Zealand's flag?
S：Red.
T：Yes, they are red.

■ActivityWhere do you want to go?

　行ってみたい国を伝え合う活動をします。児童に教室内を歩き回って、友だちにインタビューするよう指示します。このとき、「ワークシート」(8-1)を活用してもよいでしょう。
　また、状況に応じて、国名を表す語句を確認しておきましょう。

Interview time!
Walk around the classroom and find a partner.
Ask questions with each other. Write down the answer and name on your textbook.
