■導入のSmall Talk 例Try
Unit 1～3で学習した語句や表現を使って話をします。
「教科」「誕生日」「日課」、いずれのテーマでもよいでしょう。
【教科】
T：I like English.
What subject do you like?
S：I like math.
T：Great!
【誕生日】
T：My birthday is July 15th.
S, when’s your birthday?
S：July 21st.
T：OK. July 21st.
【日課】
T：At home, I always walk my dog.
S1, do you help at home?
S1：Yes. 配膳!
T：Oh, you set the table.
That’s great!
■導入のSmall Talk 例Challenge
導入として好きな動物の話をします。
Challenge 2では、参加したい理由になる語句や表現（I like.../They are cute. など）も導入できるとよいでしょう。
T：I like dolphins.
They are cute and smart.
How about you?
What animal do you like?
S：I like elephants.
T：Oh, you like elephants. Great.
They are big and cute.
■やり取り 例Challenge 2
児童とやり取りをしながら、参加したいプログラムの記号と開始時間を答えさせます。
T：Which program do you want to join?
Program A, B, C...?
S：A.
T：A. Giraffe feeding. Great.
Do you like giraffes?
S：Yes.
T：What time does the program A start?
S：11:30 A.M.
T：Good.
